2017 SEASON
Effective from 1st November 2014 Cosford SG has been granted permission to shoot NSSA "Monthly Targets" which means NSSA members can shoot registered targets on ALL days that the ground is open. The clubs standard weekly opening hours are:
Thursday 10am till 4pm
Saturday 10am till 4pm
Sunday 10:30am till 1:30pm
The EXCEPTIONS to this are the dates listed in the next section as these are specific NSSA Registered "Events" held on Saturdays and BOOKING is required (details in the previous section) to avoid disappointment.
Cosford Shooting Ground has been running since 1980 and have held a clay pigeon shoot every week since. Plastic Wad cartridges are accepted on the Skeet range (Fibre Wad on all other disciplines) We are a small friendly club situated just off Junction 1 M6 and also have easy access from the A45 and M1. We pride ourselves on giving all who visit a warm welcome and we offer a full range of facilities including hot and cold refreshments, car parking and clubhouse. We offer Skeet, DTL, Sporting and Compact and also have the Dry Fire facility on offer upon advanced request. There are also air gun facilities with two covered firing points.
Our skeet range has a clear blue sky background and we throw black targets from our recently installed new promatic skeet traps.
The club is affiliated to NSSA, CPSA and also a BASC Trade Member.
